About Us
Belize Butterfly Supply specializes in exporting high-quality butterfly pupae from the pristine Maya subtropical broadleaf forest in Toledo, Belize's lowest most southern district. The Toledo district, home to the infigenous Maya population, is predominately rural with the inidigenous often facing higher rates of poverty and social disadvantage.
Situated at Hummingbird Farm in Indian Creek Village, our farm follows sustainable and ethical practices, ensuring the health of both our environment and butterfly species. We focus on local species such as the illustrious Blue Morpho. With expert care, hygiene, and a commitment to the ecosystem, our practices meet the highest international standards to provide exceptional butterfly pupae to clients worldwide.
Why Us?
“Direct from our farm to you, no wholesaler involved, ensuring freshness and quality control”

Belize Butterfly Supply is committed to meaningful people to people connections that nurture healthy communities. Our three generation family farm, established in 2011, is committed to preserving and enhancing 112 acres of subtropical broadleaf forest thereby being a part of the solution to climate change and a channel for the redistribution of wealth back to the indigenous farmer. We are a family farm operating in partnership with local communities and conservation organizations. Our practices are human and eco-friendly, supporting habitat preservation, native plant propagation, and educational outreach in Belize.
HUMMINGBIRD FARM
Hummingbird Farm, founded by deceased Charles E Lucas,  is a 112 acre third generation Creole-owned farm, proudly operated by indigenous Maya staff. Rooted in a deep respect for people and land, we sustainably farm butterflies, domesticated animals, with walking trails and a farm meat shop. Our mission is to support indigenous livlihoods and promote ecological balance.
